ChurnZero is a customer success platform. This integration with GoToWebinar seamlessly maps webinar registrants and attendees to customer contacts in ChurnZero, providing customer success (CS) teams with valuable insights to enhance engagement and drive customer growth. It also allows CS teams to automate workflows and trigger personalized follow-up actions based on webinar participation, helping to improve customer onboarding, product training, and ongoing customer education.

Integration Requirements

In order to connect your GoToWebinar instance to your ChurnZero instance, the following is required:

  • Authorize your GoToWebinar instance within ChurnZero. To authorize, log into your ChurnZero Production account, go to Admin > GoToWebinar Setup and follow the instructions. You will need to authorize with an Admin user of GoToWebinar. Confirm the authorization with your Implementation Specialist and/or CSM when you are done.

Sync Behavior/Rules

  • This is a one-way sync, from GoToWebinar to ChurnZero. The ChurnZero integration with GoToWebinar is one direction, from GoToWebinar into ChurnZero. Webinars, Registrants, and Attendees are NOT editable in ChurnZero.
  • Default sync interval is daily. Every day at midnight UTC, a full sync will be run to pull in all new and updated Webinars, Registrants, and Attendees.
  • The sync targets Webinars, Registrants, and Attendees.
    • Registrants and Attendees are mapped to Contacts via the email address associated with the Registrant or Attendee. Webinars are not directly linked to Accounts or Contacts but can be referenced by the Registrant or Attendee for use in segmentation.
  • Webinars, Registrants, and Attendees data is supplemental data in ChurnZero. Registrant and Attendee data can be used in Segments and can be used to trigger Alerts. But Webinars, Registrant and Attendees themselves cannot interact with Plays, Journeys, NPS Campaigns or ChurnScores (this is all done at the Account and/or Contact level).
