Learning in Action: How GoTo Connects Personal Growth with Organizational Success

Get Connected

What happens when learning becomes part of a company’s DNA and growth is celebrated at every level?

At GoTo, this vision came alive during Learning Week—a dynamic celebration of progress, innovation, and collaboration, expertly led by our Talent Development team. Guided by our core value to “keep growing,” Learning Week showcased how GoTo elevates its people, creating opportunities for GoGetters and the company to learn and succeed together. With the theme of Get Connected, we immersed ourselves in four days of interactive topics, live recorded sessions, microlearning bursts, contests, and challenges that sparked fresh ideas and collective breakthroughs.

Learning isn’t just a value statement here— within our culture it’s a vital strategy for building smarter teams and a stronger business. As we grow individually, our ability to think boldly, connect meaningfully, and drive impact rises together. In this blog, we’ll revisit Learning Week and show how our commitment to connection and development sets GoTo apart as a forward-thinking workplace.

Learning Week 2025

“Getting Connected” in Action

Learning Week delivered on its promise by turning growth into a shared experience. Each day highlighted a unique way for GoGetters to thrive, rooted in four main objectives:

  • Improved performance—sharpening skills for smarter, faster results
  • Stronger collaboration—building trust and teamwork across all departments
  • Innovation at scale—embracing trends like AI to keep GoTo ahead
  • Goal alignment—turning shared objectives into measurable wins for all

Our week unfolded with a focus on connecting with Self (professional development, mindfulness), with Others (cross-cultural collaboration), with the Company (outcome-driven teamwork), and with Now (AI and the future of work). On Friday, “GoTo Grow Learning Time”—recurring, dedicated time set aside on employees’ calendars for learning—capped things off, reinforcing our ongoing investment in professional growth.

Real-time insights, stories from participants, and engaging challenges brought these daily topics to life. Together, Learning Week gave everyone tools and opportunities to amplify their impact and help GoTo stay agile in a rapidly changing world.

The Everyday Learning Journey

While Learning Week was a standout, it’s just one example of how learning is woven into our everyday culture at GoTo—thanks in large part to the ongoing dedication of our Talent Development team. As the architects of Learning Week and the driving force behind our broader development initiatives, they design experiences, learning tools, and support systems tailored to GoGetters at every step.

Our robust offerings include monthly live trainings for managers and employees, an always-on Learning Slack channel, company-specific competencies, LinkedIn Learning, Insights Discovery, custom workshops, and both internal and external coaching programs. We provide comprehensive onboarding for new hires and managers, as well as reading and tuition reimbursement options to empower employees to focus on their development and take ownership of their careers. Tools like Workday Skills Cloud and the Workday Gigs program open doors for skill-building, mentorship, and fresh experiences. Through this holistic approach, GoTo fosters curiosity, agility, and innovation—ensuring we’re ready for whatever’s next.

Continuous learning is critical for people and culture because it fosters adaptability, drives innovation, and ensures teams remain relevant in a rapidly changing world. Development events like Learning Week matter because they provide dedicated time and opportunities for growth, collaboration, and the exchange of new ideas that strengthen both individual and organizational success.

Keeping the Momentum Going

Learning Week offered a glimpse into how personal growth and collective success come together at GoTo. While these sessions were internal, the philosophy is universal: when people and organizations connect and learn, everyone benefits.

We invite you—leaders, learners, and organizations everywhere—to reflect on how connection drives growth in your world. What’s one way you or your team bridge the gap between individual learning and shared success? Share your stories or insights in the comments.
